What Makes The Class Different?
If you are looking at The Class, chances are you looking at some other high-level bands and wondering what the difference might be between us and them. Let us help.
WE ARE A REAL BAND
The Class is a tight-knit group of musicians and friends that play together on a regular basis. The competition is often just a name – a large rotating assembly of random musicians put together by an agency and they often have never played together before. We think the positive energy of being close friends and having so much time together comes across on stage and in everything we do as a team.
WE CARE ABOUT THE DETAILS
We take pride in what we do and how we do it. We truly care about your event. All the details are important because we’re invested in your event and maintaining our stellar reputation. We care about how the stage looks, the way we MC, making everything feel natural and we care about getting along with the other vendors. We want every aspect of the event to go well, not just the music!
YOUR EXPERIENCE MATTERS MOST
Everyone on The Class team prioritizes YOUR experience. Some bands play for themselves and make themselves happy, but we play for you. Playing with the right energy for the event is key in making sure everyone has the time of their lives! Fun, but not over-the-top. At the end of the night, we talk about how much fun the guests had because that’s what matters to us. If you hire The Class, you’re hiring a band that cares about what you care about.
SONG TRANSITIONS
The music never stops. The Class links songs together, similar to what a DJ does, but better! Keeping dance parties going is a real specialty and we have spent years perfecting the art of not stopping. Not stopping is our signature and you and your guests won’t be able to leave the dance floor because the hits keep on coming!
WE ARE NOT A CHEESY EVENT BAND
We probably like cheesy event bands even less than you do. Our personalities are suited for facilitating GREAT dance parties, but not for trying to get all eyes on us. We are not showy. The cheesy stuff is OK for other bands, but it’s just not our style. Upbeat, fun, high energy, but never cheesy.
WE HAVE MORE EXPERTICE
Chances are we have more experience than the other bands you are looking at. The Class has performed at over 1,000 high-end events, ranging from corporate parties, weddings, a Netflix show, casual backyard parties, yachts and large concerts. The Class has been in every setting imaginable and has the experience to know how to play to any crowd.
WE PLAY AT THE CORRECT VOLUME
Playing at the right volume is essential. Many event bands play too loudly, but not us. Keeping the volume down, especially during dinner, takes a lot of expertise, and it also requires making it a priority. Many of our competitors just play as loudly as they want, with little concern for the guests or the venue rules, just ask your wedding planner and venue director. The Class is different. We know that putting on a good event means playing at the correct volume-not too loud, not too quiet!
